L'Aquila – chiostro S. Domenico – 03/2013
Sound installation based on the study of the reflections and cavity resonances of a very suggestive cloister in the heart of L'Aquila. Audio installation for a multi-channel sound diffusion system
Sound direction: Luciano Ciamarone
Sound programming: Luciano Ciamarone
Located at the Parco degli Acquedotti in Rome, this installation explores the intersection of acoustic physics and quantum theory. The work utilizes acoustic convolution to merge the site’s natural Impulse Responses (IR) with synthetic audio generated through algorithms based on quantum probability and wave interference.
